Espanola Highways & Freeways

The King`s Highway is a provincially maintained highway which starts at Port Dover on the north shore of Lake Erie and travels a distance of 480 km (300 mi) north. On the Bruce Peninsula in the community of Tobermory, travellers on the highway must take the MS Chi-Cheemaun Ferry to South Bay, on Manitoulin Island. The highway continue north up the island to the town of Little Current where it crosses to the mainland over the North Channel by the Little Current Swing Bridge. The highway then continues north through Espanola and ends at the Trans Canada Highway (Highway 17).
