The Ojibway Club in Pointe au Baril is an both an island community centre and a historic landmark. The building is one of only ten century-old lodges that still remain in northern Ontario from the hundreds that were originally built and is managed by the Ojibway Heritage Society. The lodge no longer acts as a hotel, but is today a social and recreational centre offering a restaurant, gift shop, grocery store and gas docks as well as tennis courts, summer youth camps and social functions. Bobby Orr Community Centre Named after one of Parry Sound's most famous sons, the centre is both an arena and community hall.
