La Cloche Mountains
The La Cloche Mountains have stood proud in Killarney Provincial Park for over two billion years. Archeologists have found that people have traipsed by these off-white quartzite formations for more than 9000 years. For determined hikers who can spare a week, there is a 100km (62mi) trail that curves around the La Cloche Mountains.
